The hotel is a grand and lovely historic property located in the Third Transport Ring district. It is very close to a metro station, Red Square, and most other sites of interest. The attached restaurant serves excellent food. The hotel provided very good customer service during our business trip.

Breakfast buffet was excellent and it was nice that a bar is available in the evenings. Hotel itself was unusual and interesting.
Staff seems under-trained and service was erratic and, sometimes, bizarre (ie. they seemed to think it was funny when we had a bird trapped in our room with bird droppings all over, although they did eventually move us.)

Location and silence
I have ordered this hotel for my business partner. He loves to stay in it and has stayed in this hotel more then 10 times. But this time we faced a lot of problems. The plane was arriving at 23:00, so i wrote in my reservation about late arrival aprx 23:50. The plane was late, so we get to the hotel at 1 a.m. The reception man told us that 20 minutes ago he has gave the last standard room and there is no more standard rooms in the hotel and that they did not received our reservation from Booked.net. After an argue for 30 minutes at night I asked him to call the general manager, but he did not respond. Finally he dicided to shift the person coming in the morning and gave us the room, but he wanted us to pay extra money for it. Again 10 minutes of arguing and we got this room. So it 45 minutes at 1 a.m. to check in. No comments

I recently stayed at the historic Legendary Hotel Sovietsky for a few nights on a leisure trip. The hotel impressed me with its grandeur and history, from the marble butterfly staircase to the dazzling chandeliers. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a choice of pillows. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea making equipment in the room. The chamber maids were kind and available 24/7 for any requests. The location was quiet and the hotel had good sound-isolation. The air-conditioning in the room had individual control, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel provided a lovely surprise for New Year's, with a bottle of champagne and fruits in our room. the hotel's ambience, comfort, and helpful staff made for a memorable stay.

Good breakfast with a musician playing harp or piano! really relaxing. Nice halls and corridors
confort level of room is not linked to the rest of the hotel! For instance, you have to ask water at the lobby before being able to take a shower! A bit to far from the nearest subway

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is great, just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy for us to explore the city center. The service here is top-notch, from the friendly staff at the 24-hour reception to the attentive room service. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with amenities like heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. We also enjoyed the sitting area, where we could relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel has a beautiful dining restaurant and a cozy bar/lounge area, where we enjoyed delicious meals and drinks. The staff was attentive and always ready to help.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It offers great amenities like free Wi-Fi, paid parking, and a swimming pool.

The value for money at the hotel was excellent, and the room was comfortable with stunning Soviet-era decor. The location was great, with a beautiful view of the Soviet Architecture from across the street. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made my stay truly enjoyable.
The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

It is not very far from metro station, it is very comfortable, staff is welcome, very spacious. Interior decoration is great. Breakfast is good.
Equipments in the room (radiator, electrical switch, ...) are a little bit old and maybe the rooms would need a renovation, but all works correctly and all is clean

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The location was quiet and the staff treated me with great kindness and warmth.
The breakfast experience could be improved with better WiFi coverage in the room.
